Practical Advice for Using Authentic Materials

Deborah and Kay Westerfield met for two days with teachers from Gaza who are involved in the English Access Microscholarship Program, an after-school English program funded by the US Department of State for English language learners in many countries around the world.

Day 2: Rationale for Using Authentic Materials

Morning: Develop a Realia/Authentic Materials Kit - discuss interesting themes; list sets of items related to themes and uses for the items
